Weekly Report #19

I can't believe the P.S. kids were still out of school on Monday!?! I was looking forward to a fresh start this week but was thrown off by the knocks and calls on Monday morning. The kids have a hard time focusing when they know their friends are out front playing :( Busy week for us with lots of things going on, trying to stay on task was very difficult and I am sure that is to be the norm around here for a while. Trying to get the kids back in to the swing of things--- SO HARD! I am ready to get back to our regular schedule and they are fighting me the whole way. I curse the public school breaks!!!!! I decided to hold off on starting our Latin studies this week... hopefully next week....

Silent reading 1 hr daily (DS has been even more of a reading maniac- he has read 3 large books this week- Thanks Grandma! He LOVES the books!)

Finished reading Heroes of Faith: Jesus Ch 3-15
Began Reading the 2nd book from the Shadow Children Series- "Among the Imposter's" Ch 1-2
